Concreters Liverpool - KMA Concrete Constructions

Liverpool’s local licensed concreters β€” house slabs, driveways, commercial floors and council work across South-West Sydney. KMA Concrete Constructions (NSW Lic 219967c) has delivered durable concrete since 1999.

  • NSW Lic. 219967c
  • ABN 13 160 436 902
  • Concreting since 1999
  • WHS certified
  • Own crew, no subcontractors

Most of the concrete problems we deal with in Liverpool come down to one of two things. The first is age - Liverpool's residential stock carries a significant volume of driveways, pathways and slabs poured in the 1970s and 1980s that are reaching the end of their useful life. The second is specification - new slabs and driveways poured without the right thickness, drainage fall or sub-base preparation that fail earlier than they should.

KMA Concrete Constructions has been working across Liverpool and the south-western Sydney corridor since 1999. We handle both - new concrete poured correctly from the start, and ageing or failing concrete assessed honestly and fixed the right way. NSW Fair Trading Licence 219967c. ABN 13 160 436 902. Every job completed by our own licensed crew. No subcontractors.

What Concreters in Liverpool Actually Need to Understand

Liverpool is not a single-character suburb. The established residential areas around the CBD carry older concrete that needs resurfacing, repair or replacement. The growth corridors to the south - Prestons, Carnes Hill, Cecil Hills and Green Valley - carry new estate construction with an entirely different slab and driveway profile. The hospital precinct and commercial zones generate their own specific requirements. And Liverpool City Council has its own standards for crossovers, footpaths and public infrastructure that differ from neighbouring LGAs.

We have worked across all of these contexts in Liverpool as concrete contractors serving this corridor since 1999. That cross-area experience is what we bring to every job, regardless of where in the Liverpool catchment it sits.

What we pour in Liverpool

The Concreting Work We Do in Liverpool

When a new house slab needs to be right the first time

The greenfield estates across Liverpool's southern growth corridor - Prestons, Carnes Hill, Cecil Hills - require raft slabs and waffle pod slabs poured to the structural engineer's specification on sites that vary significantly in soil classification across the south-west. We work directly with your structural engineer and certifier, coordinating with the builder's programme to ensure the slab is ready for frame on schedule.

Our house slab concreters work to Australian Standards AS2870 and AS3600 on every residential pour.

When a shed or carport floor needs to carry the load it is built for

Shed slabs and carport floors that crack or shift are almost always the result of under-specification - too thin, wrong reinforcement or no drainage fall.

We assess the actual use and site conditions before quoting and specify the right slab for what it will actually carry across Liverpool's residential properties.

When a driveway is failing and the homeowner needs a straight answer

Liverpool's older residential driveways are one of the most common jobs we handle in this area. Some need full replacement. Others are structurally sound but surface-damaged and resurfacing is the right and cheaper answer. We will tell you which one applies and why. We also handle Liverpool City Council crossover applications as part of any new driveway scope.

When concrete pathways need to drain away from the house, not toward it

Pathways that pool water against the house are a recurring problem in Liverpool's older residential stock. It is almost always a drainage fall issue from the original pour. Every pathway KMA installs has the drainage direction and fall assessed and built in before the formwork is set.

When ageing concrete needs an honest assessment before any money is spent

Cracked, spalling or uneven concrete across Liverpool's older properties does not automatically need to be pulled out and replaced. KMA assesses deteriorating concrete honestly - resurfacing, targeted repair or full replacement - based on what the slab actually is underneath the visible damage, not on what generates more revenue.

When commercial concrete needs to meet programme, compliance and specification

Ground slabs, warehouse floors and commercial fitout slabs across Liverpool's commercial and light industrial areas. We carry the WHS documentation, mix delivery records and compliance sign-off that commercial projects in this area require.

Programme coordination with your construction team is built into how we work on every commercial job in Liverpool.

When a carpark needs drainage, joints and surface hardness done correctly

Strata carpark floors and commercial carpark slabs for Liverpool's residential and mixed-use development. Drainage fall, joint placement and surface hardener are not optional extras on a carpark pour - they are what determines whether the surface performs correctly under sustained vehicle use.

When council and school work requires WHS management on a live public site

Liverpool City Council infrastructure and educational facility concreting. Public site work in Liverpool requires current WHS certification, active pedestrian safety management on live sites, scheduling around school hours and delivery to council specification under certifier oversight.

This is regular work for our team, not occasional.
