Privacy Policy
How KMA Concrete Constructions collects, uses, holds and protects your personal information — and how to access it, correct it or make a complaint.
On this page
This policy explains how KMA Concrete Constructions Pty Ltd (ABN 13 160 436 902) (“KMA”, “we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, holds and discloses personal information when you use this website or contact us about our concreting services — and how you can access or correct your information, or make a complaint.
We handle personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

The personal information we collect
What we collect depends on how you deal with us:
- Enquiries and quotes. When you submit our enquiry form, or call or email us, we collect your name, phone number, email address, preferred contact method and your message. We also collect any project details you choose to include — such as the address of the site you want quoted.
- Doing the work. If you engage us, we collect what we need to carry out and administer the job: the site address, plans and drawings, and billing details.
- Website usage. When you browse the website, our analytics and advertising tags automatically collect technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view and how you found us — see “Cookies, analytics and advertising” below.
The website is for adults seeking concreting services, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Why we collect it
We collect, hold and use personal information to:
- respond to your enquiry and prepare your quote;
- arrange site inspections and carry out contracted work;
- keep business records and meet our legal obligations;
- understand how visitors use the website so we can improve it;
- keep the website secure and prevent spam and abuse; and
- measure how well our advertising works.
We do not sell or rent personal information to anyone.
Cookies, analytics and advertising
The website uses cookies and similar technologies through the following services, loaded via Google Tag Manager:
- Google Analytics 4 collects usage data — the pages you visit, how long you stay and roughly where you are browsing from — so we can understand how the website is used. Google explains its handling of this data at How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
- Google Ads conversion tracking and Microsoft Advertising (Bing) UET set cookies that tell us when a visit or enquiry came from one of our ads.
- Google reCAPTCHA protects our enquiry form against spam and abuse — see “Third-party services on the website” below.
You can opt out of analytics with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, manage ad personalisation in your Google ad settings and Microsoft ad settings, and block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The website still works with cookies disabled, although some features — such as the enquiry form’s spam protection — may not.
Third-party services on the website
- Google reCAPTCHA. Our enquiry form is protected by reCAPTCHA, which collects hardware, software and interaction data to tell people from bots. Its use is subject to the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
- Google Maps. Our contact page embeds a Google Map of our service area; Google collects usage data when the map loads.
- Social links. Links to our Facebook and Instagram profiles take you to those platforms, where their own privacy policies apply.
How we hold and protect your information
Enquiry details are stored in our website’s database, hosted in Australia, and in our business email, which runs on Google Workspace. We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference and loss, and from unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We keep enquiry records only for as long as we need them for the purposes above and for our business records, and take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify them once they are no longer required.
Who we share it with
We disclose personal information only as needed to run the business:
- service providers that support the website and our systems — our Australian website host, Google (email, analytics, advertising, reCAPTCHA and Maps) and Microsoft (advertising);
- suppliers engaged for your job — such as concrete supply or equipment hire — where needed to quote or carry out the work;
- our professional advisers and insurers, where required; and
- government agencies or others where the law requires or permits it.
Overseas disclosure
Some of those providers process data outside Australia. Google and Microsoft may store and process information — including analytics and advertising data, and email sent to or from us — on servers in the United States and other countries where they operate. We do not otherwise send personal information overseas.
Marketing
When you enquire, we will contact you about your enquiry — by your preferred contact method where you have told us one. We only send marketing or promotional electronic messages if you have agreed to receive them. Any such message will clearly identify KMA and include a working unsubscribe link, and we honour unsubscribe requests within five business days, as required by the Spam Act 2003 (Cth).
Anonymity
You can browse the website without telling us who you are, and you are welcome to make a general enquiry by phone without giving your full details. We do need your contact details — and usually a site address — to prepare a quote or carry out work.
Access, correction and complaints
You may ask for access to the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it, using the contact details under “Who we are”. There is no charge for making a request, and we aim to respond within 30 days.
If you believe we have mishandled your personal information, please write to us first — we will look into it and aim to respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at www.oaic.gov.au, by phone on 1300 363 992, or by post at GPO Box 5288, Sydney NSW 2001.
Data breaches
If we suspect a data breach involving personal information, we will assess it promptly and, where it is likely to result in serious harm, notify the affected individuals and the OAIC, consistent with the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme.
Changes to this policy
We review this policy from time to time — including when our tools or practices change — and post any updated version on this page with a new date. This policy is available free of charge, and we can provide a copy in another format on request.
