Driveway replacement
Removal and new pour with sub-base preparation for actual site conditions.

South-West Sydney · Since 1999
KMA Concrete Constructions pours driveways, pathways, courtyard slabs and commercial ground slabs across Fairfield and the surrounding LGA. Fairfield is one of south-west Sydney's densest established suburbs - small blocks, constrained access, and older housing stock where driveway replacement and pathway repair are the primary residential demand. The Wetherill Park and Smithfield industrial estates, both of which KMA already services, sit within the same LGA. Operating since 1999, own crew, no subcontractors. Call 02 9054 3040 for a straight quote.

KMA Concrete Constructions services Fairfield for residential and commercial concreting. NSW Lic. 219967c, operating since 1999. Own crew on every job.
Fairfield is genuinely unlike any other suburb on our service list. It is one of the most tightly settled established suburbs in south-west Sydney, with apartments accounting for close to half the housing stock and separate houses most of the remainder. The suburb functions as the dense commercial and administrative heart of Fairfield City LGA, sitting adjacent to Cabramatta to the south and connected to Liverpool and Parramatta via the T2 line.
Those demographics define what concreting in Fairfield actually looks like. There are no new estate releases here. The work is driveway replacement on older residential properties, courtyard and outdoor area pours on small blocks where space is at a premium, pathway upgrades on densely packed streetscapes, and commercial ground slabs for the LGA's substantial industrial base across Wetherill Park and Smithfield.
The practical difference from outer-western suburbs is access. Fairfield's small blocks frequently have no room to stage equipment, neighbours built to the boundary on both sides, and driveways that require pump truck delivery because there is no direct truck access to the pour area. A contractor who prices a Fairfield job the same as a wide-access Penrith job will either lose money and cut corners on the work, or reprice it on the day. KMA accounts for access and pump requirements at the quoting stage.
We already work Smithfield and Liverpool - Fairfield sits between both. This is familiar territory.
Most of Fairfield's residential driveways were poured in the 1970s and 1980s. At 40 to 50 years old, the relevant question is not whether to resurface - it is whether full replacement is necessary or whether the slab has enough structural life remaining to justify anything less.
A Fairfield driveway from the 1970s that shows through-depth cracking, section movement, or edge failure has reached the end of its structural life. Resurfacing it adds cost and delays the inevitable replacement. A driveway from the late 1980s or early 1990s that is surface-worn but still sitting flat and structurally intact is a genuine resurfacing candidate.
KMA inspects the slab before recommending anything. Fairfield Council crossover applications are handled as part of any replacement scope. Learn more about our concrete driveway services and the resurfacing vs replacement decision.
Yes - with the right planning at the quoting stage. Small Fairfield blocks require pump truck delivery on most pours because there is no direct mixer truck access to the pour area. Staging area for formwork and equipment needs to be factored into the job scope, not discovered on the day. Neighbour proximity on both sides means concrete placement needs to be clean and controlled.
KMA assesses access requirements and pump needs when we quote the job, not when we arrive on site. That is the difference between a job that goes smoothly and one that creates problems for the homeowner.
Fairfield City LGA contains six industrial and business precincts totalling close to 830 hectares. The Wetherill Park industrial estate and Smithfield commercial corridor are two of the largest in south-west Sydney. KMA already services both as part of our regular south-west corridor operations.
Commercial ground slabs, warehouse floors and fitout pours across the Fairfield LGA's industrial base require WHS documentation, correct mix specification for operational load requirements, and certifier coordination. These are standard on every commercial job we complete in this corridor.

The wrong call - resurfacing a slab that needed to come out, or replacing a slab that could have been resurfaced - is the most expensive mistake you can make on a constrained Fairfield block. KMA inspects the slab and tells you which applies before recommending anything. Call 02 9054 3040 Mon to Fri, straight to the crew. Or request a quote online.
